Founder and CEO

Ida Slabbert is the Founder and CEO of Sweet Muse Marketing. With three decades in IT, she blends product thinking, service design and disciplined delivery to help South African SMEs win back time and revenue. Ida’s background spans Business and Systems Analysis, UX and UI design, Scrum Mastery and Agile Coaching, supported by a stack of certifications earned over the years. She’s shipped customer portals, booking systems and internal tools across teams large and small, and she brings that hard-won pragmatism to every client engagement today.

We keep this simple. When you contact Sweet Muse Marketing or use our forms and WhatsApp journeys, we only collect what’s needed to serve you and measure results.

What we collect

Your name, contact details and company; the messages you send us on WhatsApp, SMS or Email; form answers you choose to submit (for example service choices, booking times, short notes or files); basic visit data such as page views and UTM tags; and operational logs like confirmation and reminder timestamps. We do not collect special-category health data or ID numbers unless you explicitly upload them for a business purpose.

Why we collect it

To reply quickly, book the next sensible slot, send confirmations and reminders, improve our services, and report outcomes (for example response times, bookings and review rates). Everything is kept as lean as possible and used only for the purpose you’d expect when you share it.

Where it’s stored

Inside our product suite’s CRM and messaging tools and within our website analytics. Access is role-based. Files you upload via secure links are attached to your contact record and are not embedded in broadcast templates or public pages.

How long we keep it

Operational messages and booking records are retained for the period needed to provide the service and for reasonable record-keeping, then removed or anonymised. You can ask us to delete or export your data at any time.

Your choices

You can opt out of WhatsApp, SMS or Email messages directly from any message. You can request access, correction or deletion by contacting: [email protected]. If you opt out of marketing, you may still receive strictly necessary service messages (for example booking confirmations).

Children

Our services are aimed at businesses. Where a service involves minors (for example tutoring bookings), a parent or guardian must make the booking and provide consent.

Do you work nationwide?

Yes. Remote-only across South Africa (English). All onboarding, builds and support are handled online.

How fast can we go live?

5–7 working days for a focused service. Bigger, multi-service builds depend on scope. My process is fixed: Free Corporate Branding first, then SEO Research to set the brief, Wireframes for sign-off, followed by build and Bot Training. No “express” option unless it’s truly basic. A Deposit is required after the free Corporate Branding. No Refunds.

Do you integrate payments?

Yes. I connect payment gateways and add secure payment links into your flows. I can set up Stripe for you and charge from 2.9% per transaction. I also support platform-compatible options such as PayPal and South Africa–friendly connectors (e.g., PayFast or Paystack) when required. Deposits for peak slots are supported, and Recurring Debits can be automated inside our product suite.

How do you handle POPI?

We keep it minimal and transparent. Only the data needed to serve you is collected, stored with role-based access, and used for confirmations, reminders and reporting. Every message includes an opt-out. You can request access, correction or deletion at any time.
